THE "MOSYCHLON"

According to Greek mythology, Zeus threw Hephaestus from mount Olympus when he helped Hera, by sending a storm against Hercules.

Hepheastus after his expulsion fell to Lemnos island. There, the locals found him exhausted and with broken legs. He was cared for and hosted and therefore Hephaestus decided to build his workshop there, on Mount Mosychlon. In return for their hospitality, Hephaestus taught them his art.
